Encore: Silver Machine Back at the favourite X, with an early X-mas present for fans... After a great acid/space rock set from Xenon Codex, who we hope to be seeing more of soon, the Assassins launched into a long 2 hour set containing a mix of old favourites and some new material and arrangements. Helped out ably by both Guin and Jo dancing, MyChoonz and an enthuthiastic and appreciative crowd. | |

Following Huw's acoustic set, the Assassins joined him on stage for a jam of Hurry On Sundown, before putting in a soggy set to an appreciative audience, before ending with a sonic assult of Master of the Universe, Where Are They Now? and Silver Machine with Huw once again. Same time next year...let's hope for better weather! | |
